If you need to use them in some other way, you might find it difficult to get rid of the partitons. There is an easy way to get rid of that though with the standard windows tools.<\/p>\n<p><em>Invoke cmd prompt<\/em><br \/>\n<em> # Run diskpart with admin rights<\/em><br \/>\ndiskpart<br \/>\n<em># type list disk to show the disk what you have (your sd must be detected and inserted)<\/em><br \/>\nDISKPART&gt; list disk<\/p>\n<p>Disk ### Status Size Free Dyn Gpt<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8211; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;- &#8212;&#8212;- &#8212;&#8212;- &#8212; &#8212;<br \/>\nDisk 0 Online 298 GB 0 B<br \/>\nDisk 1 Online 1920 MB 0 B<\/p>\n<p><em># you might see something different, but select the correct SD card disk as mine is Disk 1<\/em><br \/>\nDISKPART&gt; select disk 1<\/p>\n<p>Disk 1 is now the selected disk.<\/p>\n<p><em># then list partitions that you have, they might be more or different size, mine was this small<\/em> berryboot partition<br \/>\nDISKPART&gt; list partition<\/p>\n<p>Partition ### Type Size Offset<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;- &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;- &#8212;&#8212;- &#8212;&#8212;-<br \/>\nPartition 1 Primary 70 MB 2048 KB<\/p>\n<p><em># then select the correct partition<\/em><br \/>\nDISKPART&gt; select partition 1<\/p>\n<p>Partition 1 is now the selected partition.<\/p>\n<p><em># and after that delete it<\/em><br \/>\nDISKPART&gt; delete partition<\/p>\n<p>DiskPart successfully deleted the selected partition.<\/p>\n<p><em># now you can exit from diskpart and see that the partition is deleted<\/em><br \/>\nDISKPART&gt;exit<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lehtosaari.fi\/?attachment_id=126\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-126\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-126\" alt=\"Disk_Management_2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lehtosaari.fi\/lehtosaari\/veli-pekka\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2013\/03\/Disk_Management_2.png\" width=\"1159\" height=\"630\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.lehtosaari.fi\/lehtosaari\/veli-pekka\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2013\/03\/Disk_Management_2.png 1159w, http:\/\/www.lehtosaari.fi\/lehtosaari\/veli-pekka\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2013\/03\/Disk_Management_2-300x163.png 300w, http:\/\/www.lehtosaari.fi\/lehtosaari\/veli-pekka\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2013\/03\/Disk_Management_2-768x417.png 768w, http:\/\/www.lehtosaari.fi\/lehtosaari\/veli-pekka\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2013\/03\/Disk_Management_2-1024x557.png 1024w, http:\/\/www.lehtosaari.fi\/lehtosaari\/veli-pekka\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2013\/03\/Disk_Management_2-624x339.png 624w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 1362px) 62vw, 840px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That was the easyest way I could quickly figure how to get rid of those partitions, hopefully this helps someone.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you play around with SD cards, eg. with Berryboot or similar for RaspberryPi, you might end up having many partitions in a SD card.
